True story:
My husband visited an outdoor equipment store today to find out what kind of guns they had. We have all heard the rumors about Obama and whatever crazy things he has planned for gun laws, so we out here in the Midwest are not taking any chances. He originally was looking for an AK-47, but no one west of the Mississippi seemed to have any in stock. So he decided on another gun, (which he told me the name, but whenever he begins talking about guns 1/2 of my brain goes numb) which none-the-less isn't as ominous sounding as AK-47.
Anyway, he goes to the gun guy at the counter and asks about this one particular gun (Shae just walked in, and over my shoulder says, before my brain could go numb, "M1-carbine, the kind the soldiers carried in WWII") the M1-carbine and finds out it's about $100 more than he wanted to spend. But then he spotted an AK-47 and mentions to the gun guy that he was surprised they had those in stock. And the gun guy says that he just ordered that gun last week for a guy who wanted to get one before Obama does who-knows-what with the gun laws. But the guy bought it, took it home and when his wife saw it (and this is the whole point of this long story) says, take it back because if Obama doesn't think you should have one, you shouldn't have one! What! Lawsy, American's can't even think for themselves anymore.

So he got the gun? My husband has an AK-47. At least I think that's what one of them is called. What do I know?
